The Campo Santa Maria Formosa Hotel is set in a neo-Gathic palace overlooking a canal full of floating gondolas. It's close to the main attractions of the city. The hotel has 9 rooms all named after famous Venetian painters. My stay was fantastic.
Ca'Dario has an excellent located in Venice's charming historic center and overlooks one of the city's main canals. It's located in a lovely, traditional Italian building and has a multilingual staff to help you feel right at home.
We stayed at the Giglio Apartment of Warm Hospitality Apartments in Venice for three nights. We had a very long overnight flight from Toronto to Venice, and we were very happy to reach the apartment. A representative from the apartment met us in a nearby piazza and guided us to the apartment, and helped us with our luggage up the flight of stairs. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious. There was a large kitchen with a stove, fridge, and even a few snacks and fresh fruit were provided. The bathroom was newly renovated, very clean, and some toiletries were provided. There was a large living room area with many books to look at and even a washing machine in the cupboard. We had a great night's sleep in the bedroom each night. We could control the air conditioning from multiple rooms, including the bedroom. The best part of this apartment was the balcony. It overlooked a small courtyard and made us feel like we were living like locals! We adored this apartment, the quiet neighborhood, and Venice itself. We'll be back someday!
