I have just returned from this wonderful colonial style hotel, a pleasure to sleep at, eat at, stroll through its so well kept beautiful gardens, bead-tree, lake with fish, turtles and water lilies of various colours, a great offer that is available throughout this month.
The room is spacious and very clean, with a digital display in which you can choose the state for your room, for example, do not bother.
Outside the room number is put in red, how pleasant! Without the need to put that little sign outside the door that can sometimes be removed by a joker passing by, leaving you unable to enjoy your privacy.
If you do want them to put the room together change the state to available. Outside the room number turns yellow. If it’s in green it’s vacant. From this small screen, as well as from the bathroom and next to the bedside tables, you have a few buttons to choose from to regulate the light, to automatically close the curtains, to turn the TV on or for the reading light...
One amazing room: comfy two by two meter bed, free minibar, very friendly hotel staff; the hotel complex is fantastic, a grandiose garden and more than five large pools each with Jacuzzi.
A large spa that surprised me as it didn’t look too good from the photos on the internet and for 180 minutes. You leave well relaxed!
Thermal loungers, aromatic showers, nebulisers... a pleasure. The restaurant is splendid.
We got a great deal that’s available now in October that included half board, entrance to the spa and deluxe room.
Fantastic dinner, exquisite food: pata negra (Iberian ham), very large prawns. In the kitchen, huge and tasty live ensis, lamb chops, Iberian catch ... all of very good quality.
For breakfast, also in buffet, marvellous. Refilled quickly even when there was still half a tray left of, for example, caña de lomo (sausage made from whole pork tenderloin free of external fat, marinated and then stuffed into natural pork casings)...
Today now that we have arrived, we miss such good mornings. Now is the season to enjoy at an affordable price this premium five-star hotel.
What a pleasure it was to be in their lounges, so spacious and comfortable. An ample solarium for those who enjoy grass and tiles. A luxury at a magnificent price this month.
With an excellent beach side location on Los Lances, and an informal and very relaxed atmosphere, Arte Vida is the perfect place to fill your senses with the sea, great music and incredible sunsets from very comfortable loungers. If you love to windsurf or kitesurf, you can go from hotel towards the low 'point' where there is surfing.
It is an incredible "5 star luxury" hotel of the Meliá chain, in the exclusive area of Novo Sancti Petri in Chiclana de la Frontera, opposite the famous Playa de Sancti Petri (part of La Barrosa). The hotel is beautiful, the construction simulates a Moorish palace and was designed by Álvaro Sans. Have a great summer pool, around which are arranged most of the rooms, from which goes directly to the beach. On the back is a beautiful arcaded courtyard with a pleasant terrace, because here are the various restaurants and bars. It has 170 double rooms, 6 suites and 3 Presidential Suites, and also have Butler and other details . Our room was a standard double. Big with a double bed, and before her a sitting area with a sofa for two, and writing desk: Minibar, AC, free wifi, satellite tv ... We also had a large terrace with spectacular views of the sea and golf course. The bathroom is all marble, with bath and shower, and a large countertop with two sinks and a huge mirror from side to side. An assortment of amenities more than full with all kinds of bells and whistles, magnifying mirror, hair dryer and bathrobe up! It seemed to me the most I could hear the tv in the bathroom, through speakers. The breakfast buffet was spectacular, with everything you could imagine: All kinds of meats, pastries, toast, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage, cererales ... Very varied and saw products of the highest quality. Although we did not use, the hotel also has an indoor pool, jacuzzi, spa with all types of massages and beauty treatments, hairdresser, gym, babysitting ... For golf enthusiasts, is an ideal site because hotel is located next to the golf course "La Estancia", 18 holes designed by Alan Rijks, and they stay and combined deals greenfee. Furthermore, in a radius of 5 Km have another 4 golf courses. A highly recommended hotel, provided we can afford the luxury ... The double room we went for 140 € per night, including breakfast.
Villas Flamenco is a dream place for a beach getaway. It is a compound with an apartment complex, the apartment is big enough and has all the amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped and the rooms are spacious and bright. The gardens and terraces are stunning with sea views mystifying to anyone. The best part about the villas is their proximity to the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves, or eating breakfast while watching the sea and the breeze is a priceless experience.
The hotel is pretty good and has large manicured gardens, the staff friendly both in bars and in restaurants as well as the reception and cleaning staff. What I do not like is the brands of liquors, the food was not bad but nothing to get excited about and very repetitive if you ate at the same restaurant cenabas you were the same for the food for dinner and I did not like anything is that in the mini club Spanish admit children from 4 years, but German children from 3 years, I wanted to leave the mine area German children and I said no, so my son who was eager to be there not allowed to enter, otherwise all very well, ah the heated pool area too small for the greatness of the hotel.
It is one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to, not just the hotel itself which is amazing, but the location, in the middle of a natural park. It's an old eighteenth century building surrounded by fields and pine forests, the Natural Park of La Brena. There are about 15 rooms with spacious bathrooms, terraces, swimming pool and internet. The food is good but not cheap, about 25 € per head. I really enjoyed it, the rooms are Rustic style and the surroundings are lovely.
In June I spent two nights via a package that included a relaxing thermal circuit and 4 more treatments choice, the circuit was very complete and had no time limit (unlike other spas I've been to) but I don't know if this depends on demand. The complex is both familiar and relaxing, and it has a kids mini club with plenty of animations.
Casa Blanco is a small boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tarifa (Calle Nuestra Señora de la Luz, 2). It has 7 rooms and a lovely courtyard, in addition to a Nespresso machine for all customers. The rooms are spectacular, with incredible light and decorated in bright colours with attention to the smallest detail. I sat for a while on the chill-out terrace, the views are breathtaking! It is seconds away from the bars, restaurants and shops. I was struck by the tranquility and peace on the streets. The staff are always willing to help - José Luis recommended a terrific tapas bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
In the Conil de la Roche neighborhood, you'll find this hotel with direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches of the town. The Junior Suite is quite spacious and airy and is divided into several zones and has great views of the beach and the pool area. You'll have a fairly long furnished terrace for sunbathing or to rest in the cool of the night. This terrace surrounds the entire suite. On arrival they put a bowl of fresh fruit and water in the minibar, along with other refreshments. The internet connection is pretty good and the other hotel amenities include restaurants, kiosks etc. pool.
Going up Guzman el Bueno street we came to a small square where the town's oldest fountain is. Right there is where you'll find the Hotel Ciudad de Tarifa. It's cozy and welcoming, and right in the heart of town. The restoration, which was lead and funded solely by the owner, has enriched the area, as can be seen in the photos. It's only the entrance that doesn't have electricity, which is another thing entirely.
Located on the coast of Cadiz, in Rota. We had spectacular views from our room. It is ideal for families, children were delighted with the activities that the hotel offered. The only negative point is the buffet needs to change a little to be a 4 star. But the staff are lovely and very helpful.
Conil de la Frontera is already a very special place, but if you are lucky enough to stay somewhere like the Hacienda Roche Viejo, it'll be even better. It's close enough to everything, but still just far enough away that you can relax. But the best thing about the Hacienda is the staff. The owners and all the employees are wonderful people who will really do their best to ensure that you enjoy a perfect stay. It's an Andalucian farmhouse, all very well maintained, with spacious, comfortable apartments that contain everything you need. A good choice if you are looking to relax in Conil.
I went to Camping Fuente del Gallo on a vacation a few years ago in Cadiz, a place I escape to to swim in the beaches and coves. This site is pretty good as it is clean and has plenty of shade. There's a pool if you tire of the salt water. One drawback to this is a bit far from town so you need a car to get around. Like any local campsite, there are day trip options to Gibraltar, Tanger, the white villages of Cadiz, or whale and dolphin watching. There are also bike paths, boat trips, etc. Oh and do not forget to visit Canos de Meca, nearby town with a good atmosphere.
The best thing about this little hostel in Conil is, undoubtedly, its location as it is in the center of town and close to the beautiful and popular Bateles beach. The hostel has 9 single rooms and the building is of Andalusian architecture, it is full of objects typical from the region. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and TV, and have a private bathroom.
It is a hotel in the old town of Conil and is a 5 min walk to the beach. There are kilometers of beaches with white very fine sand. The fairy tale hotel, decorated with the smallest details, makes the holiday a dream. Ideal for romantic couples, the deck with a Jacuzzi and sea views is my favorite place. If you come to Conil there is no better place to be and enjoy. The location is fantastic as it is close to everything.
It was a random choice and we were right, the hotel is modern, comfortable and very clean, the staff was very kind and friendly. We were on half board and I assure you both breakfast and dinner are great . Not far away from the town center, about 40 minutes walk, if you are driving is not very complicated to park. Since Conill is located more or less in the center of the Cadiz coast the location is ideal for the entire coast of Cadiz.
Its location is perfect for the summer. It faces the ocean, with a beach just some miles ahead, and well equipped. The square has free WIFI. In the surrounding area, there are many entertainment and dining options. The hospital is not far away. Some things are a little unique. In the Carranza Trophy there are overnight riding beach barbecues. At that time we settled into the hotel and went to the terrace, enjoying the weather and the atmosphere. If we feel like it we took a stroll along the beach for a while. Cadiz is a classic, on the site of the old Spa. He has many awards for not polluting and because inside is an architecture and modernist style decor. It has everything, but by putting some paste I miss not having the jacuzzi. But even at very competitive prices, in-season double leaves you for 60 euros. We sometimes find it more because Carranza trophy is considered high season, but worth it.
The Husa Conil Park is located on the beach and surrounded by pine forests. It has large gardens, a swimming pool with sun beds and parasols, a gym, sauna, parking, shops, bar, cafe and restaurant called Conil Park that offers international cuisine. Some of the rooms are smoking and offer all kind of amenities: terrace, heating, air conditioning, television, telephone, desk, minibar, safe and the bathroom has a hairdryer.
Ferreira hostel is new, with details of a four star hotel, in the center of Conil, close to the beach, bars, tapas, etc. It has a terrace to watch the sunset with a drink is a priceless luxury. Personal treatment, always willing to help and solve whatever might happen, opened in August 2013, so it's new, with a restored courtyard house with the charm that distinguishes these hostels.
This hotel, which is located near Valdelagrana Beach, the most popular of El Puerto de Santamaría, is a great option, because it offers pretty cheap rates depending on the features offered. It's a small hotel in terms of number of rooms, but it is ideal in the sense that the rooms they do have, are large. Decorated with attention to detail and a very friendly and efficient staff. It has private parking for customers.
In the old town of Tarifa, The Vestry works out of a beautiful house from the 18th century. The inn is tastefully decorated with some elements of that era and several oriental touches. The evocative courtyard, so typical of the south, is the ideal place to enjoy the cool air and nighttime smells.
I was in charge of putting the music on the CD that we released this past summer in this beautiful corner of Cadiz. If you go and stay there, remember it. It is a collection of flamenco, arabic-beats and smooth jazz. A whole tribute to a magical place by Tarifa Records.
Is in a perfect location, leisure harbour, the beach, the old town, and this continues to be a very quiet place with a very classy and family atmosphere. My aunts and uncles used to go to the whale coast in August, but since trying this hotel they have gone back every summer. I recommend it.
