This hotel is only a five minute walk from the center. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is very well-decorated and there are ruins of an old Moorish wall in the hallway.
There’s a free gym, hot tub, and sauna. Breakfast is normal.
The only issue is the difficulty entering the parking lot and maneuvering once you’re there. The price is always fair.
If you’re looking for a hotel in Logroño, the Portales is a very good choice. It’s not a “luxury” hotel by any means, but the facilities are above-average and, most importantly, the location makes it the best possible choice if you can find a good price. Not only is it in the middle of the city, but you’re just a brief walk away from the amazing Laurel street (yup, the one so famous for tapas). You’d have no excuse to not get out and explore the city. To sum up, the rooms are comfortable and they have everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in Logroño.
El Hotel Calle Mayor is found in the historic neighborhood of Logroño and has managed to create an atmosphere which is fresh but still respects the beauty of the original 16th century structure.
The only downside, perhaps, is the breakfast area which is a bit cramped (the building’s not that big), but the rooms are very nice.
Besides the original stone staircase, the hotel still maintains the building’s original stone archway, wood lattice-work, and molding.
So central, in fact, that you can see the Logroño Cathedral from your window only a block away. The rooms were well-lit and spacious, with all the amenities you’d expect. The rest of the hotel was renovated and updated and the reception area is very elegantly designed.
Also, the next day we had to check out before the buffet opened, but they were kind enough to open earlier so we could have something to eat. Really nice!
Here are the three things I love about the NH Herencia Rioja: first, the rooms are quite spacious so you never have to worry about bumping into things. Secondly, the mattress is comfortable, exactly what you need after a day of wandering around. And finally, its location: it's just five minutes from everything downtown, so if you want to have a drink, go shopping, you name it...you'll find it near the hotel. Don't miss their great restaurant, El Zarcillo. It's the perfect hotel for foodies.
The AC La Rioja is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Logroño if you're looking for a comfortable stay in the city and a chance to enjoy the famous wines and tapas of the region. This modern hotel has 76 rooms and is located next to the university and near the historic center of the city, the town hall and the thriving business area. La Ribera, the hotel restaurant, offers guests an exquisite setting decorated in a minimalist style, the ideal place to enjoy a menu focusing on traditional cuisine updated with modern techniques. The breakfast buffet and a la carte dinners are fantastic, and the wine list is vast and features some of the most prominent names in La Rioja. The hotel pool in the basement is heated. You can access the fitness facilities 365 days a year.
We decided to come to Camping De la Playa as it's close to the center of Logroño. Unfortunately, we couldn't camp at the time of year that we went (November), so we had to stay in bungalows (there was no warning about this on the website) for 25.00€ per person, so frankly if you're planning on visiting Logroño, you can probably find a better hotel for the same price! Here are some other things to know about staying here:
* The price of the bungalow does not include space for your car ... you have to pay extra.
* If you want to leave at 14:00 on a Sunday, you must pay for another day, because they will not allow you to spend a single extra minute on site
* If you want internet...you can only access it with prepaid cards.
* Cleaning of the bungalows...they claim to be cleaned regularly, but at night we spotted cockroaches!
Eager to visit the cities in the north of Spain, we headed for Logroño and chose to stay at the Hotel Murrieta. It costs a bit more than our normal budget, but it's in a new building in the center, just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor. Breakfast is available until 12:00 on Sundays and they stay late until 14:00. The receptionists and waiters are young, friendly, and eager to help you discover their city. Don't hesitate - this is a great option for your La Rioja holiday!
Hotel Los Bracos is located in the heart of Logroño on Calle Laurel, close to the amazing new art center where they put on glass-enclosed shows which you can see from the street. The cathedral is just a seven minutes' walk away. If you're just looking for a centrally-located budget hotel, this is a fantastic option.
The Hotel Ciudad de Logroño is spacious, comfortable and has rooms overlooking the cathedral. The linen smells great, in fact, we didn't even want to get up! The temperature is comfortable, the service is great, and the breakfast buffet features a wide variety of fresh pastries. There is also free water and fruit on offer in the hotel corridors. Definitely worth a visit!
The Carlton Rioja hotel is located right in the center of Logrono, close to the famous Calle Laurel. All have private bathroom, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, air conditioning and free WiFi. The hotel features a reception area, a conference room, a TV room, a lounge, a restaurant, a cafe-bar, room service, laundry service and Internet access.
Villar Pension is located in the old town of Logrono. It's in a great location, so you can easily visit the main attractions as well as the famous tapas of Calle Laurel. The rooms have a private bathroom and TV.
If you are in Logroño, you can seek hospitality in one of the many hostels near the city. Logroño is reached through the city of Santiago, usually in the Pilgrims hostels (Compostela), there's a special card certifying that you're making the trip to Santiago. Many facilities are required to provide hospitality to pilgrims passing through. Here too there is the possibility to prepare a hot meal because it has a shared kitchen in its own structure, which should be taken into account. Enjoy your stay, it is recommended!
This hotel enjoys a convenient location, as it is situated in the capital city of Logrono, Rioja. Its recent construction, with a dynamic design and spacious and comfortable interiors, make it a truly attractive and convenient place to stay. It is just a few minutes from a number of restaurants, offering varied cuisines.
I can't think of a single good thing to say about this accommodation - I wouldn't spend another night there. We booked by phone, two double rooms for one night, and called en route to warn them that we were running late, and would be there at 19:00. When we arrived, we found that we were on the third floor, and the rooms didn't have a private bathroom (we hadn't known this when we booked). My 80-year-old grandmother was with us, and she was unable to go out into the corridor in the middle of the night to the shared bathroom, where there wasn't even soap to wash. We told the manager that it wasn't what we had seen online, and she insisted that they didn't lie, that they didn't say anywhere that the rooms had a bathroom (anyone who looks at the site will see that it's unclear).
In the commercial centre of the Estate of Cantabria, La Rioja, you can find the Hotel Zenit Logrono. It is a modern and comfortable 3-star hotel and offers guests wonderful service by its friendly staff. It has meeting rooms and parking, making it ideal for business travellers.
