    Balneario Paracuellos de Jiloca Hotel
    Hotels in
    Paracuellos de Jiloca
The Paracuellos de Jiloca Spa Hotel is the oldest spa in Aragon, built in 1848, only 2 Km from Calatayud and Zaragoza, it is famed for its sulphurous waters and the beauty of the Hotel has been recognised during its 160 years of history. As you enter the hotel, you get the smell of sulphur. It has a large swimming pool where you can enjoy the thermal baths with sulphurous water, when you get out of the water you will notice the big benefits that it has for your skin. There is a good family atmosphere, the staff are fantastic. If you want to enjoy total relaxation don’t miss going, I recommend it, you will leave there free of stress.

    Hiberus Hotel
    Hotels in
    Zaragoza
The Hiberus Hotel, situated on the outskirts of Zaragoza, is a modern and designer hotel. It was opened for the Expo, and they thought of even the smallest detail. The rooms are large and very light. All of them have great views of the Ebro River, just in between the Tercer Milenio Bridge and the Pabellón Bridge. It’s to my taste because just next to the window there are some armchairs where you can sit peacefully to read with all the views in front you. Also, in the lower part of the hotel, there is a large and welcoming terrace with armchairs to take a drink, and a swimming pool for the summer. Breakfasts are taken in the lower part. Also, there is a café and a restaurant.

    Hospederia Meson de la Dolores
    Hotels in
    Calatayud
This hotel and inn is 20 metres from the Plaza Mayor of Calatayud. The XV century building is in perfect harmony with its surroundings and the interior is beautiful. It’s completely decorated with good taste. Speaking of the room, which is what is important, they gave me a room on the top floor. It was a little small, because it was a single room with a double bed, for that reason the bed occupied a lot of space, the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom, completely equipped and new, had a hairdryer. The rest of the facilities usual in a 3 star hotel, flat screen television and little more. The room has the antique style of all of the building, which has a wooden roof, birds’ nests preserved in the wall, and imitation wooden windows. An acceptable room, the only bad point is that there was quite a lot of noise because it was next to the laundry. I imagine that in other rooms you don’t hear so much noise, but in this one it was a little excessive. The hotel has a restaurant, which I didn’t try, and a museum which tells the story of La Dolores. What stands out is the fantastic attention of the staff, very nice, and who also helped me to park in the nearby parking because it was a local holiday and there were quite a lot of cars. A nice place to get to know Calatayud and the Monastery of Piedra, in the very centre, with parking, and beautiful decoration.

    Hospederia Monasterio de Rueda
    Hotels in
    Sástago
The Cistercian monastery which takes its name from an ancient watermill The Monastery of Rueda is one of three which belonged to the Cistercian Order in Aragon. Today, after a long and careful restoration which began in 1991 and which lasted until the year 2003, you can admire and visit it and spend the night in the Hospedería on the premises. Its name comes from the large wheel or waterwheel which raised the water of the River Ebro to the cultivated fields for the brothers and which has been accurately reconstructed. Even if it is situated near the village of Escatrón, the monastery belongs to the municipal area of Sástago and the first references of it date from the year 1152. In 1182, AlfonsoII of Aragon ceded the castle and the Villa of Escatrón to the monks. The Cistercian order founded the actual monastery in the year 1238, the church was consecrated and the end of the XIV century the medieval complex was finished being built with the last phases of the church. With the construction of the monastery works on the water infrastructure also began, this means, the Azud or dam to hold the water of the river, the wheel and the aqueduct are in obvious Gothic design the same as the monastery where the Gothic-Mudejar style predominates, also the Herrerian style, and in the entire site the highlight its cloister obviously Gothic, which together with the Tower and the monks Living quarters, form an area of great architectural interest which is worth visiting. The Monastery reigns in the solitude of the important Ebro River which silently crosses between woods, the enigmatic corners of the Aragonese land which between depopulation and forgetfulness want to give a warm welcome to those travellers who come here, showing treasures like this one so unexpected and beautiful.

It's centrally located, just a few meters from the Paseo de la Independencia. It has easy access and a convenient location for visiting the monuments and shopping in Zaragoza. There is a swimming pool with sundeck (seasonal), and a large Business Centre with a variety of rooms and offices. The Coraceros Bar and Aragonia Restaurant complete the gastronomic offer. There's private parking on-site.

Caserón El Remedio I Rural Cottage
    Country Houses in
    Uncastillo
After being 8 months without holidays, getting to know the village of Uncastillo has been a breath of fresh air because due to my job, at times I need to relax to be able to think better and this is what I found in the Caserón, the cure (the large breakfasts also helped), also I was surprised again by the superb nature of the Bardenas Reales, something which few people value sufficiently.

    Tryp Zaragoza Hotel
    Hotels in
    Zaragoza
The hotel is nice. It also has a Mercadona just below if you need to buy something. Although you can go back and forth easily by bus to / from downtown, watch out later. We tried it once (about 11 pm or so) and the bus going to that neighborhood didn't pass even once during a long time so in the end we had to get a taxi. It’s well connected by bus with the centre, which is more or less a quarter of an hour away. The hotel facilities are very good, clean and quite large bedrooms, what attracted my attention the most was the design, combining black and white together elegantly.

    Catalonia El Pilar
    Hotels in
    Zaragoza
Hotel Catalonia is a good choice if you're looking to stay in downtown Zaragoza, not to mention it has fantastic views of the Basilica del Pilar. It's moderately priced for a four-star hotel and is located in an early twentieth century modernist building right in the center of town. The rooms have free wifi and all the amenities you'd expect from a four-star hotel.

Located in the pedestrian area of the historical centre of Zaragoza, it is very well-situated for getting around the city. If you bring your own transport (car, motorbike...), the hotel also has a garage. It's nice and clean, with colourful furniture, although being a 2-star hotel, don't expect any more than the basics. They have wifi, although breakfast is not included in the price, and is served in quite a small room, without much variety.

    Ilunion Romareda hotel
    Hotels in
    Zaragoza
This hotel is rapidly declining. It is the third time I have stayed at the Hotel Partner Romareda and I must confess that it gets worse every time I go. The furniture does not have to be top quality, but if you pay 4 star and get "Expomobi" type furniture (full floor furniture 5oo €), it's not that it is bad furniture but it can be interpreted as a lack of respect for the client. In the liquor cabinet there are only two bottles of water. The facilities don't always work, there are plugs coming out of the wall. The TV doesn't work properly due to poor signal and you have to remind the hotel the TDT exists for a small price. Of course the TVs in the rooms are the ones that you can buy now for 40 € or less. The wifi is another story ... I did not find it anywhere, but I must say that the hotel has a computer for the customer ... Phew ... Another important thing is the price ... To give you an idea, you pay per person, ie ... Two people cost us 111 Euros, only to sleep ... after this we went to the Hotel Candido in Segovia, also 4 stars, is a truly impressive mansion, I encourage you to check it out online. Well, this veritable palace, owned by the family of Candido, of the Candido Grillhouse, only cost us € 95! There's no comparison, just look and compare these two hotels, out of curiosity. Another thing is breakfast, frugal, sparse, I had to ask for them to make fried eggs with bacon .... They gave me a tiny strip of bacon. Anyway ... I hope the hotel read this review and try to improve. I will return to this hotel because I love the area and would just like to give some constructive criticism. Thank you.

Parador de Sos del Rey Católico
    Paradors in
    Sos del Rey Católico
We were in the Sos Parador at Easter a few years ago, and we loved it. It is an imposing building reminiscent of Castilian fortresses, perched on a small hill which offers a beautiful view of the Aragon countryside. The bedroom was very spacious, with a large double bed, a fantastic bathroom with its huge bath, and medieval inspired decoration. Breakfast was very complete, including regional products such as cooked meats and cheeses. We also had dinner in the Parador, we loved both the salads and the meats prepared on the griddle and typical of Aragon. The village of Sos is a tiny medieval village in an excellent state of preservation, walled and with a criss-cross of small streets in the Jewish quarter in which it is a delight to get lost.

    Hotel GIT Ciudad De Zaragoza
    Hotels in
    Zaragoza
The Holiday Inn Express Zaragoza is a 3 star hotel, a gray structure that looks sad, cubic and without design, but manages to be in a nice place. The rooms are big, with a bathroom, they dont give you disposable shampoo bottles, and it seems like a good idea to save plastic, it is available at the front desk if you need it, and free, like toothbrush, toothpaste etc. Is close to the Expo 2008, the great fair of Zaragoza, so usually quite crowded and you have to book in advance. It has 114 rooms, with a nice modern design, has a blue light in the bathroom which is observed from the room giving it a twist. To go downtown by taxi costs 5 euros if there is not much traffic, and the 35 bus goes right to the corner, to Plaza Spain. At the reception there is a computer for internet, and the rooms have a wireless connection, which costs 4.50 euros per hour or 11 euros for 24 hours. Breakfast is included, is basic and not much choice.

    Apartamentos Rurales Camino del Cid
    Apartment Hotels in
    Castejón de las Armas
Beautiful country apartment, in a totally renewed house. It has 3 apartments, this one, on the ground floor is very large and also has a hydro massage bath. The living room has views of the church and a small hermitage higher in the village. It is very well equipped with a plasma TV, DVD, mixer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. The owners are very nice, like the rest of the people in the village. The village is very small, and peaceful, very peaceful. There’s not a lot to see. But it is well situated to go and see the reservoir of the Tranquera, the Monastery of Piedra, Calatayud, Ateca, Ferrer, the Roman city of Bílbilis and much more.

It’s a well situated hotel, in the heart of the city near to the Paseo Independencia and El Corte Ingles shop. The truth is it’s very well situated because it allows you to do a large variety of things, you can go shopping, have a walk or have some beers. Its rooms are spacious, clean and well cared for. A fantastic breakfast and unbeatable attention from the staff. Also another very good thing is that in spite of being in the heart of the city it is a very peaceful hotel, you don’t notice any of the street noise. I recommend it to everyone.

    Posada La Pastora
    Hotels in
    Uncastillo
Situated in an old manor house facing theSanta María de Uncastillo square, La Pastora is one of those welcoming small hotels which you want to return to, not so much for its comfort or good service, but for the attention and dedication of Inma and Miguel, the owners. Without doubt, the visit to the district of Cinco Cillas is much fuller with Miguel’s help, an enthusiastic expert on the area, of its history and its secrets. The inn, as a result of years of modernisation, now has seven colourful bedrooms with rustic decor, and a marvellous and complete attic suite, from where you get unforgettable views of the village. In the evenings, after a day in the open air, there is nothing better than the warm lounge with the fireplace.

    Apartamentos Auhabitatzaragoza
    Apartment Hotels in
    Zaragoza
I stayed in these apartments recently, and really recommend them - both for their proximity to the city centre, and their great value. Ours had room for four, with a double bed and a sofa bed. It's a great choice if you're travelling in a group, as you can enjoy all the freedom that comes with staying in a flat. The apartment has a large kitchen with all the cooking utensils you could want, as well as basic ingredients like oil and salt. The bathroom was quite large, and the master bedroom was also very nice. The living room had a TV, small balcony and sofa bed. Everything was perfectly neat and clean. There's a small office next to the building where the manager works, where you can go to collect your keys and make payments. Upon arrival, someone will show you to your apartment, and they also offer maps and brochures of the city and its attractions.

A good choice for those who do not want to spend a lot of money in sleeping. The only problem that I can say is that it is not near to the historic centre of Tarazona, I calculate it is less than 10 minutes walk. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.
