This traditional English brewery produces ales in Christchurch. The menu consists of 6 homemade beers, plus an extensive list of imported beers. The menu indicates what meals go best with each beer, and they have a wide selection of pizzas, meats, fish and salads. Starting at 11 pm the volume of the music rises and becomes one of the liveliest bars in town.

One of the best restaruante of Akaroa, specializing in seafood, and an extensive wine list is the Bully Hayes Restaurant & Bar, for sure. The cheapest option is the dish of the day, which is usually a soup, pumpkin, vegetables, or seafood, and fish of the day, served with chips and salad
The location of this restaurant couldn´t get any better. It´s within the Art Gallery, Te Puna o Waiwhetu, and it overlooks the sculpture garden. The price is medium / high but the food is high quality. It functions as a cafe during the day where you can relax after seeing the exhibition.
