I was at this Pitch & Putt a while ago and, although I don’t play golf, it was a fun and new experience with my family. The facilities are nice and the course is right in the Llavería mountains and not too far from the coast. The day we went it was cloudy and the clouds and the mountains made me feel like we were I the north, not just minutes from the Mediterranean.
All fans of golf know that spring is the ideal season to practice, and if you are in the area of Axarquia, the Añoreta field, in Rincon de la Victoria (Málaga), has all the conditions to have fun while playing a few holes. Añoreta field was designed by Ryder Cup champion Jose Maria Canizares and opened in 1990. You can have fun here no matter your level of play, and its attractions include the landscape and its proximity to the sea . Regardless of the outcome of your game, you can always take a dip in the beautiful coast of the Axarquia. The course has 18 holes, each with a particular feel and difficulty level. The 17th, for example, has a large lake, which makes the green look spectacular. The 13th hole has a long par and the 7th is short. The 17th hole is particularly nice, with a distance from the tee to the green of 135 meters, 5 bunkers, and 3/4 of it is surrounded by water, making it a challenge for the golfer. The clubhouse is very nice and there are other services, such as classes for children, the future champions of the now booming sport.
As a golfer I assure you that this is one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played (and I've played some). It's on the estuary of Vigo, crossed by the river Muiños and has six lakes that make it worth visiting even if you don't play golf. The clubhouse has beautiful views of the countryside and the Ria de Vigo. Another way to appreciate it is up to San Lorenzo (Domaio) on the CF-402 highway, take the Rande Bridge exit (in the direction of Moaña) where a good stretch of road runs along the back 9 holes of the course. It's worth the journey.
The Islantilla Golf Course is considered one of the hundred best courses in Europe. It is located in a residential area about 1.5 km from the seafront, in a unique field surrounded by pine forests and situated on a kind of hill, so to follow the course you must past through neighboring private developments several times. Many inhabitants have little garden chalets adjoining the course alongside certain holes, which was a major complaint at the time of the sale of the property. The course was built in parts, occupies an area of 73 acres, and now has 27 holes plus a practice tee, a great chipping green with three bunkers and two putting greens. The club building is very nice, built in a colonial style, with a restaurant, shop, swimming pool and sauna. It also offers lessons and club, car, and buggy rentals. Opposite the club is the Hotel Islantilla Golf Resort, where there is tennis and squash.
This is a stunning golf course situated to the south of Alicante on the coast of Orihuela, close to Campoamor. Once we had arrived and crossed the control barrier, we climbed up a small hill and after a few meters a panoramic view appeared in front of us. That says it all, it truly is a world apart. One of the best residential developments nationwide to play golf, it is stunning, striking, unique in the area. The clubhouse is one of the nicest I've ever seen and the Unik Café is the perfect place to begin and end a day of golf. The breakfast buffet is open until 7 for a burger lunch, and the cuisine is top notch, and all the development occupies more than 380 hectares of land. Mandatory for golf lovers and people that enjoy unique places.
