A hotel located close to the subway. The stop Great Portland Street is within walking distance of the hotel and there are also two nearby, and there are bus lines stop just outside the hotel, like Big Bus, which does tours. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with internet, minibar, safe, hairdryer, etc ... The breakfast buffet is great, you can even find churros with chocolate. And language is no problem, since the receptionists in the dining room speak several languages.
A very nice and cozy four star hotel located 2 minutes from the British Museum in Bloomsbury area and 5 minutes from the Tottenham Court Road tube stop. The rooms are not very big, but they're very clean and neat. For breakfast, you can go downstairs to the restaurant where you just say your name, get a table, and help yourself at the buffet with traditional English breakfasts with sausages, fried egg, bacon, beans, ... .. or whatever you prefer.
Whenever I return to London, I will stay at this hotel. There's a great atmosphere night and day. Great room, comfortable bed, perfect size, and the best hotel shower I've had in my life. The restaurant isn't far behind, good and inexpensive and the staff are on point. Free Wifi. Downtown. A perfect choice!

Personally, I consider this place as one of the best hotels in the city of London, its location is unbeatable in the Westminster area. It is located on the corner of Caxton Street, near Victoria Street and if you walk less than 5 minutes you get to Parliament Square and important monuments like Westminster Abbey or the Houses of Parliament. It has 275 rooms all equipped with TV, minibar, bathroom and full tea and coffee making facilities.
The beautiful boutique hotel Blooms Townhouse is located in an ancient XVIII century country house in the quiet residential area of Bloomsbury, near the commercial area of Covent Garden and fabulous shops. The Guoman Hotel is located near Tower Bridge in London. There is a subway stop a five minute walk away and bus 15 will take you to St Paul's Cathedral and Trafalgar Square. It is a beautiful place that has a few rooms overlooking the Thames. The building itself is pretty ugly but it has been modernized inside the hotel. The rooms have a comfortable bed, a desk, and some offer spectacular views over the river and Tower Bridge. It hosts corporate events and weddings. The standard room starts at £ 99, with a flat screen TV and internet access. Breakfast costs 10 pounds. Self-catering accommodation is 300 pounds per night.
The Rembrandt Hotel belongs to the Sarova chain. It's in the Knightsbridge neighborhood, opposite the Victoria & Albert Museum. The area is a bit noisy but the rooms are isolated from the street. The superior rooms start around 140 pounds a night with the prepaid web fare, the executive is 170 and the large is 190 pounds per night. They have air conditioning, internet access, a tray with tea and coffee, pay per view movies, internet, etc.
There are six conference rooms that can be adapted for all sizes of groups. The lounge serves light meals and drinks, while the restaurant The Palette offers a classic British & international cuisine. There are a total of 194 rooms that were recently renovated, but the common spaces look a little old.
Hi everyone! I stayed at this hotel for four days at Christmas in 2010, thanks to a good deal on the site Destinia.com. Bed and breakfast. It is 3 minutes from the Gloucester Road and the area offers restaurants and shops. 10 minutes from the Museum of Natural History and Victoria & Albert. The entire hotel is elegantly decorated, reminiscent of Victorian type. The reception has Spanish speakers whom are welcoming. The room, in our case, was very cozy with comfortable beds, two chairs, desk and a bathroom complete with various amenities too. The floor is carpeted, but everything together was spotless. Breakfast was adequate for London. There was a bit of everything, with good presentation. The only thing to improve would be the elevators, small and pretty hot, but it is an old building (not outdated or poorly maintained). Clients: Italian, Spanish, English and German. Families, older couples. Other popular accommodations in London: Brynston Court Hotel, Easyhotel Victoria Station, Grosvenor Kensington Hotel, Picadilly Backpapers (hostel)
A very convenient hotel located near the Tower of London and very close to the metro station Tower Hill which connects all major London attractions. The hotel was built in 2000. The hotel has 7 floors and 100 rooms. The staff are very nice, when I was there, there was also a Spanish worker. A highly recommended hotel, the rooms are large and very clean. The private restaurant has good food.
Very centrally located and well connected in the Strand. Buses stop outside the hotel and the surrounding area has up to 3 different metro stations. Covent Garden station is only 2 minutes away. A 4-star hotel but of quite reasonable value. Anyway, you can visit many important places on foo such as most theaters, Hyde Park, the Tower of London, etc.
I went to this hotel-apartment because of a recommendation from a friend, and it's incredible, tiny but cozy. It gives you the basics. I recommend going in winter because it's hot in summer and I read somewhere that it is unbearable (no air conditioning). We were very lucky because it was rather cold. The mattress is uncomfortable as are all in the UK (I lived in different parts of the UK for 13 months and I've been to London 7 times). The fire alarm goes off when you use the toaster but it's normal in UK. They smoke alarms are very sensitive to smoke and heat. I recommend it 100%!
I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Accustomed to seedy hotels at luxury prices in central London, we found a modern, comfortable, spacious, clean room (with a large lcd tv, air conditioning / heating) at a price that does not mean you have to pawn a kidney. In addition, the area is great: you are 5 minutes from Monument tube station, just before the great column that commemorates the fire that devastated the City in the seventeenth century. There are plenty of amenities nearby: very nice restaurants (one Japanese), Leaden Hall Market with gift shops and pubs (all closed for Easter), a M & S, Boots for medicine and perfume and Santander bank. Within 10 minutes you are on the river and another 10 you are at London Tower and London Bridge. Down from the hotel to the right is Saint Paul's Cathedral. I recommend it for couples, single travelers and friends in small groups.
Last weekend we traveled to the wonderful city of London. Needless to say, this is a fantastic city, full of attractions and things to see. We are a married couple with two children aged 10 and 12. Although we had first chosen a hotel in the Kings Cross area, after having problems with Vueling, we had to cancel that reservation and by chance there was availability at the MINC City Reach.
Well, it was a very pleasant surprise! The apartment was very good. Ours had two spacious rooms, two bathrooms, a dining room and a large kitchen. Everything was great, and fully furnished in a modern style. As a bonus, the Aldgate East station is 70 meters away. Transportation is good, and in addition to the metro there are lots of bus lines.
If you must find a downside, it would be that the hotel is in the city, and the weekend is a bit dead, but in 10 minutes or less you are in Picadilly.
I highly recommend this place for a family. You can make do with the kitchen, as dinner in London is generally expensive. A word of advice - if you stay here, you must remember to ask for the access code before leaving for your trip. It's very easy and when you book the hotel, they will tell you how to do it. That said, it is important to have the check in part done because there is no one working in the building. They are shared apartments with no contact person.
After all that, the important thing - enjoy London!

The Millennium Hotel is in the prestigious Grosvenor Square, in the heart of Mayfair, a 10 minute walk from Oxford Street and Hyde Park Gardens. The hotel website is very well done and you can take a virtual tour of the different environments, rooms and lobby. The rates are better 30 days prior to your arrival, Classic rooms are 120 pounds (very reasonable for this level of luxury in this area of London), normal are 150, upper 190 and up to 600 pounds for a suite. The decor is classic, typical of the big hotels in the neighborhood. It is a time consuming hotel opened in one of the most prestigious Mayfair, a Georgian building of the charming XVIII century.
