After six weeks in the highlands of the tropical flora, it is very pleasant to visit this natural reserve: rivers, waterfalls, pools, giant trees, and poisonous snakes. It is as if it were always summer! We spent two days walking in this place and I was amazed because our guide led the way with a machetes! It's almost an adventure! You will love it, no doubt.
The so-called stone tree can give us an idea of the enormous forces of nature that they are fighting every day in the Salar de Uyuni, a location that in winter registers temperatures as low as -30 °, and which in summer can be very hot during the day These are conditions which, combined with strong winds that occasionally batter the region, have created these strange rocks over time.
Chacaltaya is a mountain that rises to over 5400 meters above sea level. To reach its summit, you can only take a car up to 5300 meters, after that you've got to walk the remaining hundred meters. The slope is not very steep, but at that height it's exhausting! The views over the mountains and lakes of different colors - red, brown, blue (lakes have those colors as original by the minerals that compose them) - are wonderful. It's really awesome.
To be at dawn at 5,000 meters, after sleeping in a stone hut with a temperature of several degrees below zero and in a desert landscape full of geysers that spew water vapor at 150 ° and smelling sulfur unbearable masochistic sounds. But the experience is quite unforgettable.
The rainforest, in the heart of Bolivia offers lovely scenery to lovers of nature. Beautiful and heavenly oasis. Conversely, a miniature desert in the jungle, refreshing waters that fill a lake from underground springs, landscapes for meditation and spiritual peace. Visit our city and know natural wonders available to Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia
The road goes from north to south (or vice versa) on Sun Island & has no name. It is impossible to mistake it: there's only one!. If you want to walk, it will take about 3 hours. I was stunned by the beauty of the landscapes.
