As far as I'm concerned this is one of the best views on the island. The view of the Teide from here is spectacular, and it seems to float above the rest of the Island. Here there is a lookout building with a small garden and pergola framework that make the spectacular scenery.
We came upon this viewpoint by accident through a forest trail which began as an asphalt road. A friendly peddler of island products told us where to park and recited poetry to everyone without expecting anything in return. The views are very nice, but were later dwarfed by those of the English Peak. Anyway, is a nice part of a tour of the Anaga massif.
Located on the road to Puerto de la Cruz to Orotava, on the island of Tenerife is one of the main viewpoints of the island. The name of the viewpoint comes from the German scientist Alexander von Humboldt who studied plant ecology and the different layers of vegetation, because from here you can see the coast, the Orotava Valley and Mount Teide.
