Hospedándome in Santa Cruz, California. We decided to leave the beach for half day and go to the Redwood Park, whose entrance is in the town of Felton . The park has several trails, among which the most popular is a path of discovery of these "red trees" (which are of the family of the sequoias) of every kind: Some are real giants, others were excavated by fire but still living (in fact there is one to which one can go and stand in the same trunk!), or have odd shapes. The walk can be done in an hour or less, and is perfect for anyone traveling with children: they are impressed by that we could get to a tree, and the trail has neither a rise or fall, it is very wide and affordable for the whole family!
