Carora is a very quiet town, with many colonial buildings dotted about. The terrain here is arid and rocky, and is eminently healthy. Carora's geographical coordinates are: 10 34 '9 "north latitude 70 15'42" west longitude. It is 419 m above sea level from the Plaza Bolivar. The average annual temperature is 28 C. Two of Caroras pride and joys are their Raza Carora, with high milk production, and perfectly adapted to the tropics and their Colonial area, and the genuine Venezuelan colonial architecture. Food wise, I recommend The Toast Caroreña, the tripe that never fails, the back gammon prensao, its wide variety of cheeses (beef and goat cheese) accompanied by wine and of course their rich slushies! ..
Arriving in Carora, we were in the colonial area and finished the trip taking the road via Altagracia. 8 km along there is a sign on the left that says "FUNCAMET - The Garden of Aloe" in letters with an arrow and 300 m later we found a park with green areas, a swimming pool, a restaurant, tracks for carts and motorcycles, Boccia courts, games room (table tennis, air hockey, foosball, minipool). Typical food in Carora is toast, pavilion, Broaster chicken, grilled beef, fish and chicken, in generous portions and affordable prices. Excellent for families to enjoy. We recommend a visit.
