    Hotel Praterstern
I was in this hotel for just one night, for a short visit to Vienna. It's on a small street, just 5 minutes walking from the train station and about 10 minutes from the city center. The room was good, pretty small, but very new and cozy with bright decor. The bathroom was also a good size and completely new. The strange thing about this hotel is the price. At first, I reserved an individual room at 29 euros, but in the end it had to be a double and the price shot up to 75 euros, more than double! I don't think these prices are warranted, even though breakfast is included. In short, small centrally located new hotel, even though it's a little strange.

Austria Trend Hotel beim Theresianum Wien
It isn´t centrally located, but it doesn´t necessarily need to be in order to be comfortable and very basic and, above all, reasonably priced. The distance to the airport is only twenty minutes by taxi and you can get there via a comfortable highway. Once at the hotel, we found a quick check-in and reception service, attentive and helpful. We went up to the room, which was spacious and clean and in my case with street views of Favoritenstrasse, a busy road but quiet with several supermarkets, restaurants, and even a pharmacy across the street. Nothing was lacking. Breakfast is abundant with a variety of breads seed, grain and white breads and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, cereals, jams, teas and juices. The property was recently renovated, so we found it gleaming and ready for reviewing. As we left, to the right we found the subway station Südtiroler, which brings us, after 4 stops and a change, to the center of Vienna (Stephansplatz).

    K+K Palais Hotel
S Hello everybody! I stayed at this hotel for several days in order to continue on my trip to Prague and, as always, the European hotel chain K + K did not disappoint, nor did the attentive and qualified staff. This particular hotel (in Vienna there is another called K + K Maria Theresa) is located in a quiet area of the city center close to the river. The tram stop is only 5 minutes away. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was complete with a variety of amenities. Plasma TV, minibar, desk, chairs ... outdoor rooms overlook a park, very quiet. The breakfast buffet is undoubtedly the best part of the hotel, not so much for its variety of options but for the presentation and quality (for example, there were a number of jams, all in small sealed glass jars, not plastic). There's a bit of everything and a good amount of fruit. I recommend the hotel 100%. Although the price can be high, there are times of year where you can find great deals. Do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns or questions about the hotel or Vienna in general.

Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn Wien hotel
This was the old house belonging to Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, with plant trees by the entrance. Today, it is a four-star hotel with over 300 rooms. The public areas are magnificent, but the rooms are in need of improvement. We booked three spacious rooms, but there was no air conditioning or water heater, and the carpets were very old. Still, the views are just gorgeous. The subway is close by, and the breakfast is varied and delicious.

Imperial Riding School Renaissance Vienna Hotel, A Marriott Luxury & Lifestyle Hotel
Without a doubt, this is the most beautiful hotel where we've had the opportunity to stay. It's a very attractive property, with nice views of the city of Vienna. The duplex suite - "only" 250 a night - is nevertheless cheaper than the equivalent quality in many other European cities, and offers champagne and canapes, as well as time in the salon. The spa is well worth a visit, and the breakfast buffet is delicious.

    NH Collection Wien Zentrum hotel
Functional and well-priced (there are frequent promotions), a good choice if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the city of Vienna. It is located in the beautiful Mariahilferstrasse, a few steps away from the railway U3 which will take you downtown (or you can walk from the hotel, but it will take you ten minutes). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a sauna at clients' disposal, and they serve a very hearty breakfast on the top floor of the hotel, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the buildings and streets of south Vienna.

    Hotel Daniel Vienna
This hotel is very new, and is located just steps from the Belvedere. The decor is a bit basic, but everything is very smart, and the place is really welcoming. The rooms are a bit minimalistic, but the ones overlooking the Belvedere have a really nice hammock! Some of my travel companions found it a bit uncomfortable that there was no chair to hang things, but I don't care. You can buy some of the articles, like hammocks, and there's a cozy cafe complete with a bakery in the morning. Try the delicious muffins! Note: The staff is made up of guys here who have found a job, and therefore the possibility of rehabilitation, after leaving a community for drug addicts.

    Vienna Marriott Hotel
The third and last hotel of our stay in Vienna, the Marriott is located in the Stadtpark. The rooms are more business-based, but they have all the high-end luxury amenities you'd expect from this chain. We particularly enjoyed the brunch. The rooms have a beautiful view of the park, with plenty of brightness from the glass walls.

    Hotel Am Stephansplatz
I've been staying at this 4 star hotel in Vienna and the experience has been fantastic. It is located in the Plaza de San Esteban, in the heart of Vienna, with a metro station right next door and all of the qualities for an ideal stay in the Austrian capital. The hotel facilities are in perfect condition, are modern, extremely clean and very comfortable. It has a bar, a gym, and free wifi throughout the hotel. The rooms are very spacious with modern furniture and are very well kept with hardwood floors, a living room and a separate bedroom. Two TVs, two closets and two comfortable beds. It has two bathrooms, spacious and have heated floors, bathtub, shower, bathrobe, slippers and all possible comforts. The breakfast buffet is spectacular, in a room with windows overlooking the square and a very relaxed atmosphere. Service is efficient and friendly and the there are a great variety of foods offered. I also liked the staff for their kindness and professionalism and because they have been so helpful at all times. In short, a hotel that I recommend to everyone for its excellent location, its elegant facilities and comfort. A great place to stay if you go to Vienna.

    Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth
The Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth is located in the city center near the Cathedral of St. Stephen. Staying here means it's easy to take a walk through the nearby shopping streets like Kaernter Straße and Graben. If you want to go farther, right on the corner of the hotel there is a metro station. This hotel was renovated and reopened in 2007, so you can appreciate its modern facilities, with all rooms beautifully decorated and equipped with phones, radio, cable TV, minibar and air-conditioning.

The Levante Parliament - A Design Hotel
This luxury hotel is in the centre of Vienna, behind the City Hall, and within walking distance of the city's main attractions. It has an exclusive exhibition of glass articles by international artist Ioan Nemtoi as well as a number of really impressive photographs by Curt Themessl. Since 2005, it has been part of the Design Hotels range. The service is just excellent: every customer is greeted with a glass of champagne before being sent to their room, which overlooks the exquisite courtyard. Breakfast is fabulous, too, with a variety of pastries, meats, bread, cereals, fruit, smoked salmon, and other foods.

    Hotel Kaiser Franz Josef
This small shopping street is very close to the Villiers station or Malesherbes subway resembles a "mini-city" in Paris! It is the perfect place to find many stores like Monoprix, food and clothing, cafes, an excellent bakery besides the Boulevard des Batignolles (try the small mushroom quiches, served in the Parc Monceau, which is magic!) A bank (Caisse d'Epargne), bar-tabac-games, and mostly full of small fruit and vegetables traders, extolling the virtues of their raspberries (2 cups for only 3 euros!), clementines and oranges the apples. ..! Here you can browse quietly, because very few cars driving down the street, only a few can cross. One last tip: go for a drink, or have a salad in the Villa de la Terrasse (restaurant featured in MonNuage also!)

    Hotel Sacher Wien
This hotel is a definite must if you're staying in the city of Vienna. It's very clean and neat, with a few bars, and an elegant cafe. Everything is very beautiful and bright. It looks like something from a movie from the 1940's or 50's. Indulge in one of the delicious treats on offer - I recommend the Sacher torte, of course. Wonderful!
